Compare and Contrast Essay


Hello Guys, welcome once again to my blog. ✌

This week we learned about organizing your paper, SUBJECT-BY-SUBJECT, and POINT-BY-POINT. 👀

Subject by subject or block method, you address each subject in separate paragraph.

Point by point method, you examine one aspect of one subject and the same aspect of the second subject within the same paragraph.

Here's my job for the week guys. 👇

Topic 1: 

Students who work and Unemployed students: Who takes the Best of This Life?


Prewriting: Chart.


Students Who Work

Unemployed students

Is an independent person.

All your expenses depend on someone else.

They value studies more.

Lost interest.

They have difficulty in work and study schedules.

They have too much free time and do not know how to invest in something profitable.



Outline: Subject By Subject. 


Introduction: This day we will talk about a very interesting topic that is working students and unemployed students, so we will know who gets the most out of life and what is the difference between them.


Paragraph n°1: Students Who Work: The good thing about having a job is that you are already independent, you pay for your studies and you try to get ahead despite working part of the day, as it is difficult for them to earn their money they put more effort to be able to improve in their studies and not They waste their money, however the negative of all this is that their study and work schedules are difficult, many times they fall behind with the subjects but they do not lose hope of achieving their goal, which is to continue studying.


Paragraph n°2: Unemployed students: By not having a job, the only way to study is for someone else to pay for your studies, as long as you do not get a job you will continue to be dependent and in the long run that is good and bad, because sometimes whoever pays for your studies may no longer follow it doing for one reason or another, and if you are one of the people who knows how to take advantage of opportunities, you will know how to take advantage of the fact that they are paying for your studies, in fact most of the people who do not work have free time and do not know how to invest in anything of profit, they are very comfortable and get used to doing nothing good in them.


Conclusion: In conclusion, I wanted to highlight the small differences that I have perceived today personally, it must be said that if both study it is because they want to improve academically and is perfect, however, whoever works will always cost much more than the one who does not work, to be a A student who works or does not work will always have something good and bad, in my case I do not work but I share the dream of improvement like all students of becoming a professional and getting the best out of life.


Topic 2:

Driving a car or Riding a Bus, which works for university students?


Prewriting: Venn Diagram 



Outline: Point-by-point.


Introduction: Tell me, which of the means of transport is best for a student?


Paragraph n ° 1: Money.

Car: It is more expensive because you pay for gas and parking.

Bus: It is cheaper, you only pay passage.


Paragraph n ° 2: Security.  

Car: It is safer to travel by car.

Bus: It is dangerous to travel by public transport.


Paragraph 3: Time.

Car: You can take alternate streets to arrive on time.

Bus: You will be late because they follow an established route that they must follow.


Conclusion: I prefer a car, although economically it is a little more expensive, it is much safer than traveling by public transport, there you are exposed to many bad things, for example being robbed, going uncomfortable. In my case, as I said, I prefer to ride by car, however, all the time I have traveled by bus to go to study.

 Hello guys 👋🏻🤩 We continue working with the comparison and contrast, I did my work point by point using the prewriting Chart. Homemade food or delivery? It is better to cook at home or order at home. Money well invested can be used but you can indulge yourself from time to time ;  However, you must know how to distribute it, if you have food at home, it is better to prepare your own food you can prepare it to your liking and as you wish , but this way you save a little money, now, if you don't have time and prepare your food you can order food at home and that's fine, you invest your money in a treat of yours, but you spend a little more money when ordering at home.
